Hope International University announces Royals Open Outdoor Track and Field Season With Strong Performances

The Hope International men's and women's outdoor track and field teams opened their season with strong performances at the Ben Brown Invitational and the Occidental Distance Carnival on Friday and Saturday, March 11 and 12.
On Friday, March 10th Emma Timmermans broke the school record in the Women's 1500m with a time of 4:49.89. Emma started the race off in the back of the pack but slowly worked her way up to the front and finished in a solid 4th place in her heat and 20th overall. This was a great start to her Outdoor Track Season. Then on Saturday March 11th, the Men's & Women's Track teams opened up their Outdoor Track season at the Occidental Distance Carnival.
