Zakiyah Franklin, former Winter Haven Senior High School standout’s collegiate team plays on Saturday, March 23 in Division I NCAA Basketball Championship Tournament

On Saturday, March 23, former Winter Haven Senior High School standout Zakiyah Franklin’s current collegiate team the Kansas Jayhawks won 81-72 against the Michigan Wolverines in the NCAA Division I Basketball Championship Tournament.

Hosted in Los Angeles, California, this was the first game against the Michigan Wolverines during the championship.

The Kansas Jayhawks’ next game will take place on Monday, March 25 at 7 p.m. in Los Angeles, California against USC Trojans.
