Waukesha County business leaders meet lawmakers during legislative day in Madison

Business leaders from the region gathered in Madison for the Waukesha County Business Alliance’s second annual Legislative Day. The event allowed participants to meet with 15 legislators and staff members to discuss issues affecting local businesses, including infrastructure updates for I-94, housing solutions, preservation of the Manufacturing and Agriculture Tax Credit, and the impact of the EPA’s non-attainment designation on Wisconsin.

The Alliance collaborated with the Oconomowoc Chamber Of Commerce and The Chamber of Greater Menomonee Falls and Sussex to advocate for business interests in the area. “We were proud to advocate on behalf of businesses on important topics, including the modernization of I-94, solutions for increased housing, protecting the Manufacturing and Agriculture Tax Credit, and the impact of the EPA’s non-attainment designation for Wisconsin,” a statement from the Alliance read. “We were also proud to partner with the Oconomowoc Chamber Of Commerce and The Chamber of Greater Menomonee Falls and Sussex to bring a strong voice for the region’s business community.
