Valdosta High School standout Essence Cody’s collegiate team won game in NCAA Division I Basketball Championship Tournament on Friday, March 22

On Friday, March 22, former Valdosta High School standout Essence Cody’s current collegiate team the Alabama Crimson Tide won 82-74 against the Florida State Seminoles in the NCAA Division I Basketball Championship Tournament.

Hosted in Austin, Texas, this was the first game against the Florida State Seminoles during the championship.

The Alabama Crimson Tide’s next game will take place on Sunday, March 24 at 5 p.m. in Austin, Texas against Texas Longhorns.
