University of Richmond announces Spiders Set For Atlantic 10 Championship
RICHMOND, Va. - The Richmond Track and Field team will compete at the Atlantic 10 Championship at the University of Massachusetts in Amherst, Mass. on May 6-7. The Spiders lineup will consist of 21 student-athletes participating in nine different events.
Live results will be available and the competition will be streamed on ESPN Plus on both Saturday and Sunday.
Richmond finished fourth in the competition in 2022. Returning medalists for the Spiders include Madison Trippett, last year's silver medalist in the 5,000m, Kate McAndrew, a member of UR's champion 4x800m relay team in each of the last two seasons, Lindsay Colflesh, who won gold with the 4x800m relay team last year, and Kayla O'Connell, a 4x800m relay gold medalist in 2021.
