University of Nevada-Reno announces Clark earns conference honors

RENO, Nev. - Nevada utility, Madison Clark claimed Mountain West Player and Freshman of the week, as announced by conference on Tuesday morning. 

Clark started in all four games of the week, where the Pack earned wins against Idaho State (05/01) and Colorado State (05/04 and 05/06).The freshman recorded a .615 hitting percentage with 13 at-bats. 

The San Andreas, Calif. scored three runs in eight hits, four RBI, had eight total bases with a .615 slugging percentage and stole two bases in two attempts. 

On defense, Clark made seven putouts in 1.000 fielding percentage. 

Up Next:
Nevada will now head to the Mountain West Championships in San Diego, Calif. The Pack's first game is set for Thursday, May 11, at 12:30 p.m. against Colorado State.
