Trinity College announces Mullen and Zygadlo Grace First-Place at MIT Final Qualifier

CAMBRIDGE, Mass. — Kennedy Mullen (Wilder, Vt.) and Kamila Zygadlo (Wroclaw, Poland) claimed the top spot in the 400m and hammer throw, respectively, at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology Final Qualifier on Thursday. The Bantams set their sites on the NCAA Division III Championships on May 25-27 at St. John Fisher College.

Mullen clocked in at 57.70 in the 400m, while Zygadlo threw for 49.28m in the hammer. Cate Kneebone (Winchester, Mass.) earned a personal record with a time of 59.68 in the 400m for the fourth spot, while Sophia Jones (San Anselmo, Calif.) earned eighth with a career best time of 1:01.11.
