Thornton Township High School standout Ty Rodgers’ collegiate team lost game in NCAA Division I Basketball Championship Tournament on Saturday, March 30

On Saturday, March 30, former Thornton Township High School standout Ty Rodgers’ current collegiate team the Illinois Fighting Illini lost 77-52 against the UConn Huskies in the NCAA Division I Basketball Championship Tournament.

Hosted in Boston, Massachusetts, this was the first game against the UConn Huskies during the championship.
