LOUISVILLE, Ky.  – The Memphis Tigers track & field teams wrapped up competition at the Jim Freeman Louisville Invitational in Louisville, Ky., on Friday and Saturday.

"We had a number of very solid performances today," head coach Kevin Robinson said. "Will [Dibo] had lifetime bests in both the shot and disc today. Sascha [Salesius Schmidt] had a huge PR in the disc, and very near in the shot put. Sam [Lenton] was strong in winning the discus, a PR in the hammer and solid showing in the shot as well. Poorna [Raorane] is starting to become more consistent. Mans [Roos] had a PR in shot, and Jamal [Mitchell] in the disc. Amber [Simpson] had another meet over 65 meters and another victory. Oliver [Tomann] had a season best in hammer. Monica [Aldrighetti] and Alyssa [Morello] both jumped will in the vault, and Evan had an outdoor PR. The Wyatt brothers and Vincent [Chenier] ran well, as did Chloe Figgins. Pleased to see some of the puzzle pieces start to find their place."
