Riddle Set to Compete at NCAA Indoor Championships
Albuquerque, N.M. – University of Memphis senior pole vaulter Cole Riddle is set to compete in Albuquerque, New Mexico at the NCAA Indoor Championships on Friday night at 7 p.m. Riddle qualified as the No. 6 seed in the country in the pole vault with a mark of 5.64 meters (18'6").
"Cole has had an incredible indoor season," head coach Kevin Robinson said. "I am really excited and proud of what he and Coach Ellis have been able to accomplish together. Cole can jump with the best, and he will get that chance [tomorrow]."
ESPN+ will have a live stream of the championships available. Riddle competes in the pole vault starting at 7 p.m. CT. Live results are also available to monitor.
Notables:
- Riddle broke the American Athletic Conference all-time pole vault record 5.64m (18'6") on Feb. 5.
- He broke the previous Memphis school record three different times this season.
- On Feb. 24, Riddle finished as AAC runner up in the vault at the conference meet.
