The NCAA D2 Softball Championship Tournament is ready to begin with the collegiate team of former Mount Vernon High School Sydnee Perry participating

Former Mount Vernon High School player and current Indianapolis Greyhounds infielder, Sydnee Perry, will compete in the NCAA D2 Softball Championship Tournament.

They begin the tournament as a number one seed against the eighth seeded Missouri S&T Miners.

The first game is on Thursday, May 9.
