The NCAA D2 Softball Championship Tournament is ready to begin with the collegiate team of former Cuthbertson High School Gianna Tamburello participating

Former Cuthbertson High School player and current Lenoir-Rhyne Bears catcher, Gianna Tamburello, will compete in the NCAA D2 Softball Championship Tournament.

They begin the tournament as a number four seed against the fifth seeded Lander Bearcats.

The first game is on Thursday, May 9.
