Susquehanna University announces Track & Field Sends Four to National Championships in Rochester, NY

INDIANAPOLIS, IND. – Four Susquehanna University track & field student-athletes had their tickets validated for the NCAA Division III Outdoor National Championships, hosted by St. John Fisher at the Polisseni Track & Field Complex in Pittsford, N.Y. (Rochester area). Bryce Ellinger (High Jump) and Chloe Yoder (100-Meter Hurdles) make a return trip to the national stage after qualifying for March's indoor championships in Birmingham, Ala., while Remi Acord (Long Jump) and Ben Bulger (400-meter hurdles) will make their first appearance at NCAA's.

All four individuals won their respective events at the Landmark Championships. Ellinger set a new school and championship record at 2.08m. Yoder took home the conference title with a meet-record 14.25 time, with her best this spring coming in the form of a wind-aided 14.05 and 14.09 non-wind aided. Acord won the long jump with a conference championship record 5.98m, while Bulger did the same with his trek around the track coming in at 52.89. He then turned in an AARTFC Championship-winning time of 52.92 this past Thursday.

The NCAA Division III Outdoor National Championships runs Thursday, May 25 to Saturday, May 27. The full schedule can be accessed HERE.
