St. Edward's University announces Cadie Belle Currie and Arianna Vidales Earn All-Conference Honors

At Wednesday night's conference banquet, the Lone Star Conference announced its postseason softball honors, listing two St. Edward's Hilltoppers to its all-conference teams.
Sophomore CADIE BELLE CURRIE and freshman ARIANNA VIDALES each earned their first all-conference selections after helping lead St. Edward's to a 26-25 record, including 20-22 in conference play.
Currie earns All-LSC Second Team honors after posting a 14-9 record with 110 strikeouts and seven shutout victories across 166 innings pitched, limiting opponents to a .227 batting average and 49 walks.
Viadales earns All-LSC Third Team and All-Freshman Team honors after leading the Hilltoppers in batting average (.322), runs (26), on-base percentage (.397), and stolen bases (26) despite missing 10 games due to injury.
St. Edward's is currently ranked seventh in the South Central Region and will play Angelo State in the first round of the LSC Tournament on Thursday at 1:30 p.m.
