St. Bonaventure University announces Bobbey Garners Atlantic 10 All-Conference Honors

St. Bonaventure University softball junior Brooke Bobbey has been selected to the Atlantic 10 All-Conference Second Team, conference officials announced Wednesday.
Bobbey led the Bonnies this season in almost every offensive category, starting 46 games as the team's leadoff hitter and centerfielder. She tallied a team-best 44 hits in 136 at-bats, scoring 21 runs and collecting 56 total bases. Bobbey also served as a threat on the base paths, leading the Brown and White with 11 stolen bases and four triples.
Her .324 batting average and .410 on-base percentage ranked 15th in the Atlantic 10 while her 20 walks were 12th in the conference.
A native of Poland, Ohio, Bobbey thrived against Atlantic 10 opponents, ranking fifth in conference hits with 28. She also sits eighth during conference play with a .368 batting average vs. A-10 pitching and ninth in on-base percentage at .455.
Bobbey posted career highs in games played, games started, at-bats, runs scored, hits, triples, RBIs, slugging percentage, walks and on-base percentage. She posted 12 multi-hit games and had a streak of 14 games where she reached base safely from April 1 to April 23.
For her career, Bobbey has appeared in 109 games and made 101 starts in the outfield over the past three seasons. She has registered 78 hits in 281 at-bats while her 26 career stolen bases ranks tied for sixth all-time in the Bonnies record book.
