KANSAS CITY, Mo. – The National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) has announced the 2022-23 Baseball All-America teams as selected by the NAIA-Baseball Coaches' Association All-America Committee, including Player and Pitcher of the Year.

Right-handed pitcher, Andrew Herbert, from Reinhardt Baseball was named NAIA All-American Honorable Mention after having an outstanding season for the Eagles. He led the team with a 2.84 ERA and an 8-1 win/loss record with 10 appearances.

Herbert missed the final two to three weeks of the season with an arm injury, which took him out of postseason play.

Despite missing the final part of the season, Herbert was still named to the AAC First Team All-Conference and was named AAC Pitcher of the Year.

He will spend the off-season recuperating from the injury and will be ready to lead the Eagles come next January. He will be going into the 2024 season as the #1 pitcher for the Eagles and they look to reload their pitching staff.
