Reinhardt University announces Andrew Herbert Named AAC Pitcher of the Week

WALESKA, Ga. - Andrew Herbert of Reinhardt and Bryson Lofton of Bryan are the Appalachian Athletic Conference (AAC) Baseball Pitcher and Player of the Week, the league announced Monday.
Andrew Herbert has had a great season for the Eagles pitching several complete games and recording 56 total strikeouts. He is tied with Jordan Hampton with a 7-1 win/loss record.
This is the seventh edition of the weekly honors for the 2023 season. The next set of awards will be announced on April 10.
AAC Pitcher of the Week
Andrew Herbert - Reinhardt - Sophomore - San Clemente, Calif.
- Struck out 7 in picking up a complete-game victory in a 6-2 game against Montreat.
- Allowed 2 earned runs on 4 hits and no walks.
- This is his first weekly honor this season.
AAC Player of the Week
Bryson Lofton - Bryan - Sophomore - Calhoun, Ga.
- Batted .667 helping Bryan to a 3-1 record on the week.
- Belted 3 home runs and lined 2 doubles in posting a 1.400 slugging percentage.
- Drove in 9 runs and scored 8 times as well.
- This is his first weekly award this season.
