On Thursday, March 28 former Vashon High School Keshon Gilbert competed in hopes to reach NCAA Division I Basketball Championship

On Thursday, March 28, former Vashon High School standout Keshon Gilbert’s current collegiate team the Iowa State Cyclones lost 72-69 against the Illinois Fighting Illini in the NCAA Division I Basketball Championship Tournament.

Hosted in Boston, Massachusetts, this was the first game against the Illinois Fighting Illini during the championship.
