On Thursday, March 28, former North Mecklenburg High School standout Jae'Lyn Withers’ current collegiate team the North Carolina Tar Heels lost 89-87 against the Alabama Crimson Tide in the NCAA Division I Basketball Championship Tournament.

Hosted in Los Angeles, California, this was the first game against the Alabama Crimson Tide during the championship.
