On Thursday, March 21, former North Mecklenburg High School Jae'Lyn Withers collegiate team won in the NCAA Division I Basketball Championship Tournament

On Thursday, March 21, former North Mecklenburg High School standout Jae'Lyn Withers’ current collegiate team the North Carolina Tar Heels won 90-62 against the Wagner Seahawks in the NCAA Division I Basketball Championship Tournament.

Hosted in Charlotte, North Carolina, this was the first game against the Wagner Seahawks during the championship.

The North Carolina Tar Heels’ next game will take place on Saturday, March 23 at 5:30 p.m. in Charlotte, North Carolina against Michigan State Spartans.
