On Sunday, March 31 former Cardinal Newman School Ashlyn Watkins competed in hopes to reach NCAA Division I Basketball Championship

On Sunday, March 31, former Cardinal Newman School standout Ashlyn Watkins’ current collegiate team the South Carolina Gamecocks won 70-58 against the Oregon State Beavers in the NCAA Division I Basketball Championship Tournament.

Hosted in Albany, New York, this was the first game against the Oregon State Beavers during the championship.
