On Saturday, March 23 former Mount Saint Joseph High School Amani Hansberry competed in hopes to reach NCAA Division I Basketball Championship

On Saturday, March 23, former Mount Saint Joseph High School standout Amani Hansberry’s current collegiate team the Illinois Fighting Illini won 89-63 against the Duquesne Dukes in the NCAA Division I Basketball Championship Tournament.

Hosted in Omaha, Nebraska, this was the first game against the Duquesne Dukes during the championship.

The Illinois Fighting Illini’s next game will take place on Thursday, March 28 at 9 p.m. in Boston, Massachusetts against Iowa State Cyclones.
