On Saturday, March 23 former Marist High School Sydney Affolter competed in hopes to reach NCAA Division I Basketball Championship

On Saturday, March 23, former Marist High School standout Sydney Affolter’s current collegiate team the Iowa Hawkeyes won 91-65 against the Holy Cross Crusaders in the NCAA Division I Basketball Championship Tournament.

Hosted in Iowa City, Iowa, this was the first game against the Holy Cross Crusaders during the championship.

The Iowa Hawkeyes’ next game will take place on Monday, March 25 at 7 p.m. in Iowa City, Iowa against West Virginia Mountaineers.
