On Saturday, March 23 former Bishop McNamara High School Qadence Samuels competed in hopes to reach NCAA Division I Basketball Championship

On Saturday, March 23, former Bishop McNamara High School standout Qadence Samuels’ current collegiate team the UConn Huskies won 86-64 against the Jackson State Lady Tigers in the NCAA Division I Basketball Championship Tournament.

Hosted in Storrs, Connecticut, this was the first game against the Jackson State Lady Tigers during the championship.

The UConn Huskies’ next game will take place on Monday, March 25 at 6 p.m. in Storrs, Connecticut against Syracuse Orange.
