On Monday, March 25 former Shawnee Mission West High School S'Mya Nichols competed in hopes to reach NCAA Division I Basketball Championship

On Monday, March 25, former Shawnee Mission West High School standout S'Mya Nichols’ current collegiate team the Kansas Jayhawks lost 73-55 against the USC Trojans in the NCAA Division I Basketball Championship Tournament.

Hosted in Los Angeles, California, this was the first game against the USC Trojans during the championship.
