On Friday, March 22 former La Jolla Country Day High School Te-Hina Paopao competed in hopes to reach NCAA Division I Basketball Championship

On Friday, March 22, former La Jolla Country Day High School standout Te-Hina Paopao’s current collegiate team the South Carolina Gamecocks won 91-39 against the Presbyterian Blue Hose in the NCAA Division I Basketball Championship Tournament.

Hosted in Columbia, South Carolina, this was the first game against the Presbyterian Blue Hose during the championship.

The South Carolina Gamecocks’ next game will take place on Sunday, March 24 at 1 p.m. in Columbia, South Carolina against North Carolina Tar Heels.
