Olivia Rivera, former Maria Carrillo High School softball player will compete with her collegiate team for the NCAA D2 Softball Championship

Former Maria Carrillo High School player and current Cal State San Marcos Cougars infielder, Olivia Rivera, will compete in the NCAA D2 Softball Championship Tournament.

They begin the tournament as a number four seed against the fifth seeded Cal State East Bay Pioneers.

The first game is on Thursday, May 9.
