Ohio University announces Ohio Men's Golf Finishes 13th at the Any Given Tuesday Intercollegiate

PAWLEY'S ISLAND, SC-- The Ohio Men's Golf team traveled to South Carolina this week to play in the Any Given Tuesday Intercollegiate. The three day tournament consisted of three rounds, landing them in 13th place overall. The Bobcats shot a 290 in round one, and a 295 in rounds two and three, giving Ohio a final score of 880 (+16).

Individually, Ohio was led by Matt Daulton (Lebanon, Ohio). Daulton grabbed 9th place with a final score of 213 (-3). Sam Hogan (Burlington, Canada) followed in 22nd place, shooting a combined 217 (+1). Sitting tied in 47th place was Carson Trafford (Dublin, Ohio), with a final score of 223 (+7). Up next for the Bobcats was Will Kates (Centennial, Colorado) with a final score of 228 (+12), putting him 75th. Closing out for Ohio in 87th place was Jack Neville (Terrace Park, Ohio) with a combined 231 (+15). 

Overall, Troy University took first place in the tournament with a combined score of 840 (-11). Individually, Jared Nelson from University of Connecticut took first place at the intercollegiate shooting an impressive 207 (-9).

Up Next:The Ohio men's golf team will continue their 2023 season at the Golfweek Any Given Tuesday Intercollegiate in Pawleys Island, South Carolina. The tournament will stretch for three days, and round one will tee-off on March 27th.
