Northwestern College announces Women's Track and Field to Compete at GPAC Championships

ORANGE CITY, Iowa – The Northwestern women's track and field team is set to begin their championship season, traveling to Sioux Center, Iowa for the 2023 Great Plains Athletic Conference (GPAC) Championships.


Multi events start at noon on Saturday, with field events beginning at 2:00 p.m. for the women. The GPAC Championships will conclude with the 4x400m relay on Saturday at 5:20 p.m., in which Northwestern will have one team participating.


There are multiple Raider athletes who are currently in the top-10 in the GPAC, led by Jacie Vander Waal (So., Sioux Center, Iowa) holding the second-best mark in the high jump, posting a 1.65m leap at the Red Raider Open. Other Northwestern athletes with top-10 GPAC marks are listed below.
