Northwestern College announces 14 Raider Women Receive NAIA Track and Field Scholar-Athlete Honor

KANSAS CITY, Mo. – The National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) has announced the 2022-23 Daktronics NAIA Women's Track and Field Scholar-Athletes, with 14 Red Raider student-athletes receiving the honor.
To be recognized as an NAIA Scholar-Athlete, a student-athlete is nominated by the institution's head coach or sports information director with the criteria of maintaining a minimum grade point average of 3.5, appearing on the eligibility ticket of the sport, and attending the institution for at least one full year.
Northwestern women's track and field student-athletes Abigail Clarke (Sr., Waverly, Neb.), Abby Ervin (So., Jewell, Iowa), Aleah Rees (So., North Liberty, Iowa), Caitlin Alberts (So., Sully, Iowa), Emma Haley (So., Orange City, Iowa), Emma Wilson (So., McCallsburg, Iowa), Erin Hulberg (So., Brookings, S.D.), Jacie Vander Waal (So., Sioux Center, Iowa), Kaylynn Ridgely (Jr., Rockwell City, Iowa), Kennedy Kramer (So., Larchwood, Iowa), Lauren Jurrens (Jr., George, Iowa), Megan Bosch (So., Ankeny, Iowa), Olivia Anderson (So., Harlan, Iowa), and Shaylee Yates (Jr., Harlan, Iowa) were named NAIA Scholar-Athletes for their academic achievements.
1,076 student-athletes from across the NAIA were recognized as Scholar-Athletes. Concordia (Neb.) led all schools with 37 honorees.
