Niccolo Moretti, former DME Academy standout’s collegiate team plays on Thursday, March 21 in Division I NCAA Basketball Championship Tournament

On Thursday, March 21, former DME Academy standout Niccolo Moretti’s current collegiate team the Illinois Fighting Illini won 85-69 against the Morehead State Eagles in the NCAA Division I Basketball Championship Tournament.

Hosted in Omaha, Nebraska, this was the first game against the Morehead State Eagles during the championship.

The Illinois Fighting Illini’s next game will take place on Saturday, March 23 at 7:40 p.m. in Omaha, Nebraska against Duquesne Dukes.
