Mount Vernon Yellow Jackets fall to Licking Heights in girls’ volleyball

The Mount Vernon Yellow Jackets were defeated 3–2 by Licking Heights in a varsity girls’ volleyball match.

The match was held on October 7 at Mount Vernon High School. The Yellow Jackets began the game with strength, securing the first two sets with scores of 25-17 and 25-21. However, Licking Heights staged an impressive comeback, winning the remaining sets to claim victory.

According to the schedule, Mount Vernon is set to face the Lakewood Lancers on October 9 in another Licking County conference game. The Yellow Jackets currently hold an overall record of 5-14. In their previous encounter, Mount Vernon achieved a decisive 3-0 win.
