Milwaukee School of Engineering Announces Men's Tennis Stays Perfect in Nacc Play

RIVER FOREST, Ill. – MSOE men's tennis has been on a roll and they were looking to keep the positive momentum going on Saturday against Concordia Chicago. The Raiders had no problems keeping their NACC record pristine as they swept the Cougars 9-0.

MSOE RAIDERS – 9

Concordia Chicago – 0

HOW IT HAPPENED

  •     MSOE (9-8, 4-0 NACC) steamrolled Concordia Chicago (0-8, 0-4 NACC) starting with a sweep of doubles play. The teams of Joe Chong/Jachym Smid and Josh Fay/Alex Nakasato each won via 8-0 scores while Colin Bergerud/Brandon Kurzynski secured a 8-4 win.
  • ·        Singles action provided the same outcome for the Raiders. Chong, Nakasato, and Smid each won in straight sets (6-0, 6-0) and Fay and Bergerud only let a single game get past them with 6-1, 6-0 scores. Kurzynski closed things out on a perfect afternoon for the Red & White with a 6-1, 6-2 victory in the sixth spot.

WHO'S ON DECK

The Raiders will look to stay perfect when they host St. Norbert on Saturday in Racine. First serve from the Racine Indoor Tennis Club is slated for 3:00 pm.
