Middlebury College announces Hansen Earns USTFCCCA All-American Honors

Peter Hansen of the Middlebury men's track and field team has earned U.S. Track and Field & Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) All-American honors following his sixth-place finish in the 400-meter hurdles at the 2023 NCAA Outdoor Track and Field Championships.
HANSEN'S HIGHLIGHTS
- Hansen earned his second All-American accolade, having finished in seventh place during the 2021 NCAA Championships in the same event.
- At this year's NCAA Championships, the Panther placed third in his preliminary heat with a season-best time of 52.74. In the final, he crossed the finish line in sixth place, stopping the clock in 53.24 to receive All-American honors.
- The senior secured three all-region honors this year. Hansen was a member of the indoor 4x400 relay team, while he earned the honor outdoors for his performances in the 400 hurdles and once again as a member of the 4x400 relay team.
- During the NESCAC Championships, Hansen won the 400 hurdles with a time of 53.25. He followed that with a fourth-place showing at the Division III New England meet (54.78).
