Miami University announces RedHawks Dominate at Bellarmine Classic

LOUISVILLE, Ky.— The Miami University track and field team compiled a long list of top-ten finishes on Friday in a strong showing at the Bellarmine Classic.
HOW IT HAPPENED:
- Camryn Dunn ran in the 60m dash and finished in seventh place with a time of 7.74. Abby Suszek ran in the 400m dash, and she finished in second place with a time of 56.27.
- The distance team started off right with Elena Pazman finishing in ninth place in the 800m with a time of 2:16.48. Annie Christie (4:55.44) and Gianna Labbiento (5:03.33) ran the mile and finished in sixth and eighth place respectively.
- On the field, Elle Miller got the RedHawks started with an 11th place finish in the long jump with a distance of 5.18m. Miller tied for sixth place in the high jump event with a height of 1.55m. Emily Eterovich finished in ninth place in the pole vault with a height of 3.50m.
- Ben Bayless ran unattached and finished in second place in the 3000m event with a time of 8:21.36. Eman Alfred, also unattached, took first place in the 60m hurdles with a time of 8.19. Julian Wagner finished in second place in the 60m, unattached, with a time of 6.92. Charlie Harders finished in third place in the 800m running unattached with a time of 1:52.82. Anthony Vlatko ran unattached in the 400m and finished in fourth place with a time of 49.49. Johnny Sayle ran in the mile and finished in sixth place with a time of 4:17.18. Jacob Ranker ran unattached in the 200m and finished in first place with a time of 22.02.
WHAT'S NEXT:
The RedHawks travel to Boston, Mass. and Allendale, Mich. next weekend for the David Hemery Valentine Invitational and the GVSU Big Meet.
