Methodist University announces Monarchs Traveled to Lee University Meet

CLEVELAND, Tenn. Methodist University men's and women's track & field teams sent three athletes to Lee University to take part in the institution's Last Chance Meet on Saturday.

TOP PERFORMANCES
- Senior Drew Topoly ran in the men's 3,000-meter steeplechase. He placed in the top-10, sixth overall, with a time of nine minutes, 21.19 seconds.
- In the women's long jump event, freshman Brandi Gardner came in 12th place following her best jump of 5.13 meters.
- Competing in the same event but for the opposite gender was sophomore Aaron Nash. His best leap of 6.73m was good enough to place him in the top-20, at 17th.
NEXT UP
These athletes now wait for all other Last Chance meets to finish before the National Collegiate Athletic Association determines which athletes qualify for the upcoming 2023 NCAA Outdoor Track & Field Championships.
