Mercer University announces Tara Davis Wins 400m Dash at UAB Invite

BIRMINGHAM, Ala. - Tara Davis won the 400m dash with a time of 55.08 to highlight Mercer track and field's day at the UAB Spring Invite in Birmingham, Alabama Saturday.

Davis' time is the second fastest time in school history and a personal record for Davis in the 400m dash. The record in the event is held by Carlanda Jones who ran a time of 54.74 in the SoCon Championships in 2021.
