Men's Basketball Falls in Final Second
After rallying from down double figures in the first half, the Benedictine University men's basketball team fell short on free throws from Aurora with just .4 to play in a 57-55 road loss on Tuesday night. Cullen Cosme capped the comeback with a layup to tie the score with just over a minute left but Benedictine missed a driving layup in the closing seconds before Aurora raced the length of the floor and drew a foul. Trevor Montiel finished with 18 points while Nick Kosich contributed 10. Marvin Agwomoh grabbed 11 boards as Benedictine finished +5 on the glass.
