Mater Dei High School standout Brooke Demetre’s collegiate team won game in NCAA Division I Basketball Championship Tournament on Friday, March 22

On Friday, March 22, former Mater Dei High School standout Brooke Demetre’s current collegiate team the Stanford Cardinals won 79-50 against the Norfolk State Spartans in the NCAA Division I Basketball Championship Tournament.

Hosted in Stanford, California, this was the first game against the Norfolk State Spartans during the championship.

The Stanford Cardinals’ next game will take place on Sunday, March 24 at 7 p.m. in Stanford, California against Iowa State Cyclones.
