Martin Luther College announces Platzer Breaks Pole Vault School Record at Morris
RESULTS
Morris, MN - MLC Women's track and field competed in an added meet at Minnesota-Morris on Friday, April 28. The Knights and Cougars were the two teams participating in multiple field events. The running events did not take place at the meet.
The Knights would have a second MLC student-athlete to break the school record in the Pole Vault, after Ally Platzer joined Micah Schibbelhut with the acheivement. Platzer took first in the event on Friday and had a mark of 2.70 meters. The senior broke the record previously set by Heidi Kostrzewa, who had a top jump of 2.67 meters back on May 4, 2016.
The Knights would have a slew of other first place finishes in various field events. Alison Foxen was one of them, taking first in the high jump (1.25 meters), while MacKenzie Lynch took first in the Long jump (3.97 meters). Macie VanDenHeuvel rounded out the jumpers with a first place finish in the triple jump with a mark of 8.54 meters.

Elise Nolte and Madelinn Romsdahl led the throwers and each took first with Nolte (10.57 meters) in the shotput, while Romsdahl had a throw of 34.43 meters in discus.
