Marissa Mitchell, former North Little Rock High School softball player will compete with her collegiate team for the NCAA D2 Softball Championship

Former North Little Rock High School player and current West Alabama Tigers infielder, Marissa Mitchell, will compete in the NCAA D2 Softball Championship Tournament.

They begin the tournament as a number seven seed against the second seeded Mississippi Choctaws.

The first game is on Thursday, May 9.
