Long Beach State University Athletics announces LBSU Men’s Golf Signs Freshman Norwin Gohm
Gohm comes to Long Beach State all the way from Singen, Germany

LONG BEACH, Calif. – Long Beach State Head Men's Golf Coach Rob Murray announced the signing of incoming freshman Norwin Gohm. Gohm will join the Beach after playing overseas in Germany.
"Norwin is a young, talented athletic player with a lot of potential and upside," said Murray. "He will bring a strong competitive attitude and work ethic and will help push the standard in all areas of the program."
A native of Singen, Baden-Wurttemberg, Gohm comes to Long Beach State with several individual titles already under his belt. Gohm took first in the International Austrian U16 in both 2019 and 2020. He went on to claim the RB German Junior Championship in 2021 as he fired a 68-74-72. Most recently, Gohm shot 73-69-69 to win the 2022 GJG Italian Junior Classic.
Gohm gained experience playing for the state team from 2018-2020. His best World Amateur Golf Ranking is 1606th, with two wins, and seven Top 10 finishes over 15 events.
