NWC CHAMPIONSHIP FINAL
The NWC Championship Final is the third of three NWC Tournaments throughout the season. The NWC Fall Classic and NWC Spring Classic each count for a quarter of the final team and All-Conference standings, with the NWC Championship Final accounting for the other 50%.
Thus far this season, the men's team finished in ninth at both the NWC Fall Classic and NWC Spring Classic. In the fall, the Pioneers posted a team score of 668 (+92) over 36 holes. Sophomore Jonathan Westlake led the team, when he posted a 161 (+17) to finish in a tie for 30th. Lewis & Clark recorded a team score of 675 (+99) after dealing with difficult conditions at the NWC Spring Classic. Freshman Millen Mistry paced the team with a score of 162 (+18) to end in a tie for 30th.
Lewis & Clark women's golf posted a score of 970 (+394) to take ninth place in the fall. Freshman Roberta Moore finished in 27th place with a score of 190 (+46). Moore led the team at the NWC Spring Classic in early April, when she notched a score of 194 (+48) to end the weekend in 30th.

SCOUTING THE MEN'S TEAM
With just one returner on the team this year, Lewis & Clark has seen their young core make huge strides as the season has progressed. Three players have posted an average of 84.00 or below and all three freshmen have recorded career-low rounds this spring.
Mistry has been the Pioneers top golfer in 2023. He has posted the lowest weekend score for the Pioneers in all three of their spring tournaments and has recorded the top score on the team in five of their six rounds. Mistry (83.07) barely edges out Jamieson (83.08) for the lowest average round score on the team. Jamieson is set to play in his ninth and final NWC Tournament this weekend. The senior has posted a score of 82 or fewer in six of his 12 rounds this spring.
Sophomore Jonathan Westlake was consistently the Pioneers top golfer in the fall. After a difficult start to his spring season, he came through with a 79 on Day 2 of the NWC Spring Classic for his best round since September. Westlake is tied with Mistry this season with three rounds of 79 or below. Freshmen Ben Oates and Johnny Pang have also made big gains as of late. Oates shot a career-low 80 in round 2 of the NWC Spring Classic and Pang posted a career-low round of 82 on March 26 at the Puget Sound Invite.
SCOUTING THE WOMEN'S TEAM
While the women's team hasn't had enough players to post a team score this semester, Moore and Frison have continued to compete and make gains.
Moore has made consistent improvements from Day 1 to Day 2 of all three tournaments and has posted a round of 91 or below in three of her past four rounds. On March 26 at the Puget Sound Invitational, she recorded a career-best round of 86. The following weekend, Moore tied her second-best collegiate round with a score of 88 on Day 2 of the NWC Spring Classic.
Frison put together one of her best weekends of the season at the Puget Sound Invitational. She registered a score of 129 and a two-day total of 265 for her second-lowest round and second-lowest tournament score of the season. She has improved her score from Day 1 to Day 2 in five of the Pioneers' six competitions this season.
