Lehman College announces Softball Fall Twice To John Jay

The Lehman College softball team dropped both CUNYAC twin-bill encounters (12-0, 13-0) to John Jay College, who was the home team, at South Field on Friday. The Lightning go to a 4-14 overall record and 0-8 in CUNYAC action, while the Bloodhounds improved to a 21-13 mark and 6-1 in conference play.

The highlight for Lehman in the opener was infielder Nicole Lopez going one-for-two with a double, while outfielder Lizbeth Perez also went one-for-two from the plate.

In the nightcap, infielder Samantha Nazar had the only hit for the Lightning.

Lehman is back in action next Tuesday (May 2nd) when it travels to take on New Jersey City University in a non-conference doubleheader with the first pitch set for 3:30 pm ET.
