Lehman College announces Perez and Nazar Capture Weekly CUNYAC Honors

Lizbeth Perez was named the CUNYAC Softball Player of the Week and Samantha Nazar was named the CUNYAC Pitcher of the Week for the week ending March 18, 2023. 
 
Perez, a junior and Bronx native was 5-6 at the plate this past week in two Lightning victories.  The junior and graduate of St Raymond Academy was credited with 5 RBI, scored seven runs, and was a perfect 5-5 in stolen bases. 
 
Nazar picked up a pair of wins in a non-conference doubleheader against York. In the two games, the sophomore and Bronx native struck out 19 while only surrendering 3 hits. 
 
The pari along with team mates are back in action this afternoon for a for doubleheader at St. Elizabeth University in Morristown, NY.  First pitch is 2:30 PM.
