Lee, a sophomore from Dadeville, Ala., was named to the first team last season. She followed that up with a second team selection as a catcher. A preseason All-GSC member this season, she hit .347 with 51 hits in 147 at bats. She led the team with 43 RBI. 22 of her hits were for extra bases with 11 doubles, and 11 home runs. Her slugging percentage was .646 and she was walked 17 times with only 23 strikeouts. She also scored 26 runs this season. As the starting catcher, she had 228 putouts, with 21 assists and two errors for a .992 fielding percentage. She threw out nine players trying to steal second base.

Macha took a big step forward this season. As the leadoff hitter, she led the team in batting average at .433 which is third best in the GSC. Her 65 hits are fourth most in the conference. She also has the third best on base percentage in the league at .497. She has the most runs scored on the team with 37. She is fourth in the GSC in stolen bases with 24 and has only been caught twice.

Head Coach Emily Russell praised the two sophomores for their achievements, "Sidney and Ana had terrific sophomore years to follow up great freshman years.  Despite slow starts, they were able to get on track for a fantastic finish in GSC play.  They are very talented softball players and this recognition is a very high praise from the coaches in our conference. There are so many excellent players in this conference and they are honored as two of the best.
