Lebanon Valley College announces Ten Dutchmen Named to Spring MAC All-Sportsmanship Team

Ten Lebanon Valley student-athletes were named to the Spring Middle Atlantic Conference (MAC) All-Sportsmanship Team, as announced by the conference office on Wednesday.
The MAC All-Sportsmanship Teams recognize student-athletes who exemplify great character and display exceptional sportsmanship both on and off the field. They represent their team, institution and the conference with high integrity, and exhibit respect for themselves, teammates, coaches and opponents. They are humble and hold themselves with pride, competing at the same level of intensity no matter who the competition is, or outcome of the contest. These student-athletes were selected by the head coaches and student-athletes from their respective teams.
Baseball–Eric Sees, senior, catcher
Sees appeared in six games this spring for the Flying Dutchmen. He had two hits in seven at-bats off the bench including a pinch-hit RBI single in big win over Hood.
Men's Golf–Mason Baker, senior
Baker finished 31st at the MAC Commonwealth Championships with a two-day score of 180. The senior played eight rounds of golf this spring and had a low round of 81.
Women's Golf–Emma Dissinger, junior
Dissinger wrapped up a strong junior campaign with All-MAC honors with a 10th place finish at the MAC Championships. She broke the school record with the lowest round at the conference championship with a career best 83.
Men's Lacrosse–Jack Kapcsos, senior, attack/midfielder
Kapcsos appeared in all 17 games and made 16 starts as an attack and midfielder. He recorded 18 points on 10 goals and eight assists with 15 ground balls and two caused turnovers. Kapcsos had a big game on Senior Night with four points on two goals and two assists.
Women's Lacrosse–Claire Howell, first year, attack
Howell played in six games during her rookie campaign for the Dutchmen and worked her way into the starting lineup for the final two games. She had one ground ball and one caused turnover in a big win at Eastern.
Men's Outdoor Track & Field–Darren Rodoff, senior, pole vault
Rodoff competed in seven meets this spring and qualified for the MAC Championships in the pole vault. He finished fifth at the conference championship meet with a season best height of 4.05 (13'3.5")
Women's Outdoor Track & Field–Caroline Reed, junior, throws
Reed competed in seven meets this spring and qualified for the MAC Championships in the shot put, discus, and hammer throw. She had career best marks in the shot put and discus at the conference championships finishing fourth in the shot put with a toss of 11.45 meters (37'6.75") and 10th in the discus with a throw of 33.97 meters (111'5"). She was 15th in the hammer with a mark of 36.03 meters (118'2").
Softball–Alden Partyka, sophomore, catcher/utility
Partyka played in 20 games and made seven starts for the Dutchmen. She batted .211 with four hits including two doubles. Partyka knocked in five runs and scored four. She had a big game with four RBI on two hits in a win over Emmanuel in Florida.
Men's Tennis–Jeffrey Bauer, graduate student
Bauer earned All-MAC Commonwealth Second Team honors after a great season where he went 6-1 at number three singles in conference play. Bauer was also 6-0 in doubles in helping the Dutchmen win their second consecutive conference title.
Women's Tennis–Madison Poladian, senior
Poladian finished the year 10-4 in singles dual play including 4-1 in the conference. In doubles she was 13-4 including a 5-0 mark in conference matches as the Dutchmen won their second consecutive conference title and made school history with a win in the NCAA Tournament.
