ANNVILLE, Pa. – Lebanon Valley College baseball players Owen Berry and Chris Langsdorf are two of the most recent Dutchmen student-athletes to sign Name, Image, Likeness (NIL) deals. The College just recently announced its partnership with Athliance, a compliance and education software company, to help student-athletes navigate these opportunities.

Berry, a first-year infielder from Cogan Station, Pa., is working with Lifestyle Bands, a company that sells motivational wristbands and other sports workout apparel.

"It is important for student-athletes to get experience in business and finances," said Berry, who is majoring in business administration. "The steps that LVC is taking to ensure that opportunity for athletes is important and really nice to see."

Langsdorf, a first-year pitcher from Morris Plains, N.J., signed his deal with Clean Fuego that sells weighted training balls designed for pitchers. He is a digital communications major.

NIL deals provide student-athletes avenues that will help them develop a personal brand, gain entrepreneurial experience, and build career-ready skills such as negotiation, social media influencing, and communication.
