Lebanon Valley College announces Jordan Walter Named MAC Commonwealth Pitcher of the Week

 Lebanon Valley junior softball pitcher Jordan Walter was honored as the MAC Commonwealth Pitcher of the Week on Monday in a release by the Middle Atlantic Conference office.
 
Walter earned a pair of complete game victories and had a 1.00 ERA for the week with 13 strikeouts. he led the Dutchmen to a 6-5 victory at Moravian to begin the week with just one earned run on nine hits and three walks with five strikeouts. The junior was then nearly unhittable after allowing a first inning run in. a 6-1 victory over Alvernia on Sunday. Walter struck out eight Golden Wolves and allowed just four hits in a complete-game effort.
 
The junior earns her third career conference weekly award and first of the season. She becomes the second Dutchman to earn Pitcher of the Week honors this year after Erin Sinatra was honored a couple of weeks ago.
 
Lebanon Valley will be back in action on Tuesday afternoon hosting Susquehanna University for a pair of games starting at 3 p.m. at the LVC Softball Park.
