Lebanon Valley College announces Erin Sinatra Earns MAC Commonwealth Pitcher of the Week Honors

Lebanon Valley softball junior Erin Sinatra was named to MAC Commonwealth Pitcher of the Week on Monday in a release by the Middle Atlantic Conference office.
 
Sinatra threw a five-inning no-hitter in the season opener on Sunday. The junior struck out six while allowing no hits as the Dutchmen defeated Mount Mary 8-0 in their first game of the season. Sinatra had four assists and one putout in the field. It was her sixth career shutout.
 
It is the junior's first career weekly honor and first of the season for the Dutchmen. LVC had two Pitcher of the Week awards last season with Jordan Walter earning both.
 
The Dutchmen will be back on the diamond Tuesday afternoon taking on UMass Dartmouth and Marietta.
